Amber has worked in the Human Services field for most of her professional career, and has a strong passion for helping others on their life’s journey. Whether is being working with Hospice to assisting military veterans with the Medicaid waiver program, she has accumulated skills and experiences to better serve others within the community. Amber hopes to make Hire the Homefront a tool that can be used by military spouses and their families long after their spouses active service has ended.
Depending on the move Jessica has been a biologist, Industrial Hygienist, lab scientist, quality control specialist, or even a receptionist. You name an ist and Jessica adapted to it to allow for her family’s 6 moves in their first 13 years of military service. Now she works to help other spouses adapt (not sacrifice) their careers to the demands of the military lifestyle. Jessica is a mother of two young children so her idea of fun is silence.
Kevin brings two major strengths to the board of Hire The Homefront. First he has lived the double role of being both a military spouse and also serving himself. This unique perspective has allows him to see the challenges of military life from both perspectives. Second he has extensive experience managing teams in a remote workforce. As a financial manager for the Coast Guard Kevin daily supervises teams spread across multiple time zones that must seamlessly interact every day. He runs ultra marathons for fun (although no one else has been able to determine what is fun about that).
